Hello

I'm Julia, a birth doula with a passion for empowering mothers on their birthing journey.

Having carried three babies myself, I've experienced the joys and challenges of pregnancy, birth, loss, and postpartum firsthand, including the profound impact of a doula's support during my own journey. Witnessing the power of that experience inspired me to become a doula and walk alongside mothers during this transformative time.

While I can't promise your dream birth, I can offer unwavering support, education, and advocacy. My goal is to empower you to navigate birth with confidence, whatever path it takes.

“We absolutely loved working with Julia!! As 1st time parents, we didn't know what to expect for labor and delivery. Our hospital's birth class was more 'textbook' knowledge than experience or 'helpful'. My husband and I understood the stages of labor and that eventually baby would be welcomed into the world, however, Julia's education provided us with techniques, breathing, positions, and remedies, to match each stage. Julia was attentive and active throughout the entire process of the 3rd trimester, labor, and delivery. We met Julia via Facebook in the third trimester in a 'panic' that we were not prepared for birth. Julia gave us a questionnaire, educated us on options, and then helped us develop a birth plan to match my wishes as mom. There was never any pressure to go medicated, unmedicated, or somewhere in between. Julia truly listened to us and made us feel as though our choices were exactly the right ones."

A Little About Me...

I'm a wife and mother to three sweet babies, two on earth, one in heaven.

I have experienced a hospital and home birth myself and am comfortable in either setting!

My drink of choice is a hot caramel latte.

Hobbies include playing tennis, coffee dates/deep convos, long walks, going to the park/splashpads with kids, camping as a family, reading books (especially on birth and Jesus), and spending time with family and friends.

I am certifying as a birth and postpartum doula through Global Birth Community. I also have a Bachelors degree in Psychology.

I work part time as a pregnancy and adoption caseworker and have previously worked as a case manager for survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking.
